What you need

A KukiBot account — free, no credit card
WordPress 5.0 or higher
Administrator access to your WordPress site

Option A — Install from WordPress.org (recommended)

Sign up free and add your domain in the KukiBot dashboard
In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → search KukiBot Cookie Consent → Install → Activate
Or install directly from wordpress.org/plugins/kukibot-cookie-consent
In WordPress: Settings → Cookie Consent — the plugin auto-detects your domain. Click Re-detect if needed.

No API key. No copy-pasting a site ID into settings.

Option B — Download a pre-configured ZIP

If you prefer a plugin file with your site ID already baked in:

Open your site in the KukiBot dashboard
Go to Installation → WordPress
Click Download plugin ZIP
In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → select the ZIP → Install → Activate

Verify it works

Open your site in a private/incognito window. The consent banner should appear. No settings to fill in.

Theme compatibility: Elementor, Divi, Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence, Avada — all themes
WooCommerce: fully compatible
Settings: banner appearance, language, and geo-targeting live in your KukiBot dashboard
Uninstall: removes stored plugin options on delete

⚠️If you have another cookie plugin installed (Complianz, CookieYes, Cookie Notice), deactivate it first. Running two consent plugins at once will break both.

Frequently asked questions

The banner is not showing — what's wrong?

Check in a private/incognito window — if you already accepted, the banner won't show again
Make sure your domain is added in the KukiBot dashboard (WordPress.org installs auto-detect by domain)
Clear any caching plugin after activating
Confirm the plugin is Activated, not just installed
Use Dashboard → Check deployment to confirm the script is detected

Can I use this on a client's WordPress site?

Yes. Install on the client's site, then transfer the site to the client from your dashboard when ready. The plugin keeps working — nothing changes on their end.

How do I update banner settings?

All settings are in your KukiBot dashboard. Changes apply within minutes — no plugin update needed.
