1. Who we are

KukiBot ("we", "us", "our") is a GDPR cookie consent SaaS operated by Ioannis Kokkinis, based in Greece. Contact: info@kukibot.com.

2. What data we collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your email address via Clerk (our authentication provider). We do not store passwords.

Site configuration: We store the domain, appearance settings, and geo preferences you configure for each site.

Consent logs: When a visitor on your site interacts with the KukiBot banner, we store: a random visitor ID (UUID), their consent decision, the categories accepted, their IP address, user agent, and timestamp.

Scan data: If you use the cookie scanner or WCAG checker, we store the scanned URL and results.

3. How we use your data

To provide the service (authentication, site management, consent logging)
To display your consent audit trail in the dashboard
To enable you to demonstrate GDPR compliance to regulators
To send transactional emails (account-related only, no marketing)

4. Legal basis (GDPR Article 6)

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)) — providing the service you signed up for. Consent logs from your site visitors are processed on your behalf as a data processor; you are the data controller.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We use the following sub-processors:

Cloudflare — infrastructure, Workers, D1 database (EU region)
Clerk — authentication and user management

6. Data retention

Consent logs are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sites (and their consent logs) from the dashboard at any time. Account data is deleted upon account deletion.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email info@kukibot.com to exercise any right. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies on kukibot.com

We use only strictly necessary cookies (authentication session). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on our own website.
